River Run 5k: Benefit for Prostate Cancer Research
Event: Each September at Le Graves Stadium, Fort Worth
About the Event
The River Run 5k is held at Le Graves Stadium just off Main Street in Fort Worth, Texas each September for Prostate Cancer Awareness Month. It is always held on a Saturday, usually earlier in the month. The race benefits Prostate Cancer Research through the American Foundation for Urologic Disease. You can run the 5k or just walk it. We create teams for either or both as needed.
How NCFM Dallas/Fort Worth is Helping
We promote this event as much as we can each year. We recruit people to participate each year. We give away bumper stickers and educational information whenever we can.
